In May, Morocco enjoys pleasant spring weather, making it an excellent time to visit. Casablanca, with its coastal location, offers mild temperatures ranging from the mid-60s to mid-70s °F (18–24°C) and refreshing sea breezes. Fez experiences warm but comfortable days, with temperatures typically in the 70s °F (21–26°C), though evenings can be cooler. Marrakech sees slightly warmer conditions, with daytime highs often reaching the low 80s °F (27–29°C) and cooler nights providing relief. Tips:
As you pack your clothes, you should consider the country's culture. Morocco is a conservative country, so you might want to dress modestly, covering your knees and shoulders at all times.
For the festival, no need to bring a gala or fancy clothes, but you might want to dress up a little bit for the concerts. The dress code is no flip flops or shorts.
Please remember you will catch a flight from Fez to Marrakesh, so if possible, pack light.
You must take off your shoes while visiting Mosques.
