DGS is more than a school; it is a learning experience where co-curricular activities have an important place alongside academic studies. Co-curricular activities are built into our school day and are provided for all students. Your child will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of arts, enrichment and physical activities. Each year, as the school grows, the options available will expand.
In addition to exploring and trying new activities, children develop socially and physically through co-curricular activities. They learn the thrill of new and different challenges, the spirit of teamwork, and enjoy a sense of accomplishment. In our international community, we know that these activities provide children with additional occasions to work with friends, peers, and educators beyond the classroom which strengthen our community.
Currently, during distance learning, DGS is offering full hour-long classes in both theater and art. In addition, students periodically meet for PE during offline blocks.
