History
DGS was founded in 2019 thanks to the energy, creativity and philanthropy of David and Deborah Sonnenberg. With a board of advisors consisting of experienced educators and with a close partnership with Riverdale Country School in New York City, DGS is committed to progressive, transformative education that will allow students to develop their full potential and lead for positive change. Starting with grade six in 2019, DGS now serves about 200 students in grades six, seven, eight, nine and ten
The Future
DGS is working on both growing the school and further enhancing our programs. Currently, we are developing our high school program and ensuring that we have high-quality curriculum, teaching and advising. Starting from the 2023-2024 school year, DGS will be implementing the Advanced Placement (AP) program.
As DGS begins construction on a new building in the southern part of Hanoi, we also continue the growth of our school.
