PACKED LUNCHES
Please be reminded that due to having serious allergy sufferers in our school we follow a strict no nut policy. If your child brings a packed lunch to school please ensure that their lunch is nut free.
SPECIAL VISITOR
We had a wonderful last day of Autumn Term with lots of party clothes, music, cinema and games. We also had a very special visitor who came to give gifts to our Nursery children. The children in Nursery are always so excited to welcome a new face. This visitor was welcomed with songs and lots of happy faces!
JACK FROST
Well done to all staff and children in Nursery & Reception. There was a great turnout for their Jack Frost production and the children sang beautifully in between telling the story of Jack Frost. We hope all who came enjoyed themselves as much as we did, thank you for coming to support!
HEAD BOY & GIRL
We invite all children and their families to join us in congratulating both Salah and Leah from Year 6 on their recent success at securing the important positions of Head Boy and Girl! Children across the school are encouraged to share their ideas and suggestions with the Head Boy/Girl so that your very valued voices can be fed back through the school council. We hope to hear more from the newly appointed Head Boy and Girl in the next newsletter.
WINTER CLOTHING
As we move through the coldest months of the year we would like to remind our families to ensure that children are wrapped up warm. The school day involves spending an amount of time outside (for playtime and lunchtime). A warm and waterproof winter coat is essential for all children, and gloves and a woolly hat are advisable accessories. Please note that scarves and Ugg-type/welly boots are not permitted during school time but may be worn to and from school if desired. Ensuring that your child has suitable items to keep them warm during their outdoor time will enable them to continue to enjoy their free time without the worry of feeling cold.
