Teacher: Mrs. Gutierrez
During the Fall 2022 semester, 25 AVID Seniors took advantage of a unique opportunity. AVID Scholars were able to visit six college campuses across Southern California! Scholars toured CSU San Bernardino, CSU Los Angeles, and CSU Dominguez Hills on day one. After staying overnight at a hotel in Seal Beach, Scholars visited CSU Long Beach, CSU Fullerton, and UC Riverside on day two!
College field trips are a cornerstone of the AVID program at LQHS -- we do our very best to ensure that all of our students can increase their opportunity knowledge by visiting at least one college or university campus per academic year. AVID Seniors are also able to tour La Sierra University's brand new campus in Rancho Mirage!
