The law requires that all young people continue in some kind of education or training until the age of 18. The following information is intended to support Year 11 students and their parents/carers in making informed choices about the ‘next steps’ after Year 11. There are a series of videos and presentations that help to explain the choices available. Our careers advisers Jessica Townsend and Kat Garland from Luminate Careers have also put together a ‘Post 16 choices’ booklet which is available for all Year 11 students.
This is a general introduction to the choices available to students at the end of Year 11. This could be watched in conjunction with looking at the Post 16 Choices booklet.
T Levels are a brand-new, 2-year qualification that you can do as an alternative to A levels, other post-16 courses or an apprenticeship.
