Great Responsibilities towards Education on Environment and Nutrition School-Community Holistic partnership with Other Outsourcing Linkages
Project GREEN SCHOOL is in collaboration with the School Disaster Risk Reduction Management Council (SDRRMC) and; the School Feeding Program. Thus, Education on Environment includes Health and Safety in the Workplace (the School) - the DRRMC being a component of Go Green Program and Nutrition in the Project Title, specifically pertains to the School Feeding Program.
Based from the 2017-2019 School Improvement Plan, Gulayan sa Paaralan and Waste Management EXISTS, unfortunately due to building construction, all implemented programs were not fully achieved.
By 2021;
Reduce school waste by at least 50%
Sustain 80% awareness on waste management specifically on salable waste.
50% of the garden produced and poultry/livestock be utilized by the feeding program and open commercially.
100% of the school’s garden possible space be filled with vegetables, herbal and ornamental plants.
Feeding beneficiaries will be decreased by 50%.
After about five months from the launching program of this project, a second planting season follow. The Project’s team leader and his teacher members, asked some parents/guardians and teachers to send their planting activities in their respective homes – like replanting vegetables, plant cultivation/culture and harvesting.
