Access to Microsoft 365 Services
How do I log on to my account?
Users can sign in to https://portal.office.com with their username (@deped.gov.ph) and password.
How do I recover my password?
Click on Can't access your account?
Select Work or school account.
Fill in the details asked and follow the prompts.
If you are unable to recover your password this way, please send an email request to support.email@deped.gov.ph
How do I install the Microsoft 365 apps on my device?
Note: Only users who have an A3 license will be able to install the Microsoft 365 apps on their devices. Contact your School ICT Coordinator (for schools), Division/Regional IT Officer, or ICTS (for Central Office only) to confirm what license you are entitled to.
Go to https://portal.office.com and log into your account
Click on the Install Office button
Select Office 365 Apps and follow the prompts

Can I call or message someone with a different tenant/email domain?
Yes, you can still call them and send them a message.
What is a tenant/email domain?
The tenant is the domain name after your name/LRN/ID.
For example:
juan.delacruz@deped.gov.ph
12345212347@r2.deped.gov.ph
93843841130@r8.deped.gov.ph
Why are there different tenants?
Because each user gets access to many apps and services (Microsoft 365, Outlook, Teams, etc.) that cannot all be hosted in one tenant.
Therefore, users are divided and assigned into regional tenants.
Can I use my Gmail account or other personal accounts?
Yes, but we advise you to use your DepEd Microsoft account to have access to Teams.
You will be a guest at meetings, events, and groups if you use your personal account and may not have access to many Microsoft services, including Microsoft 365.

Can I send files to other people in Teams?
Yes, you can send files to people with the same tenant/email domain as yours.
To send a file to other people outside your tenant, upload it on your OneDrive (or any other cloud storage platform) and send the link to the recipient.
How many attendees can a Teams meeting accommodate?
Teams can accommodate up to 1,000 users in a meeting.
How many attendees can a Teams Live Event accommodate?
Teams can accommodate 20,000 to 100,000 view-only attendees in a Live Event.
How can I make my live event accommodate 100,000 people?

Is there a Teams mobile app?
Yes. Download Microsoft Teams on the App Store or on Google Play.
