Dalaya Elementary School is known as producer of professionals. There has been many successful graduates since its establishment in 1945. I am proud I am one of them. Others are scattered everywhere in the world. Thus, I considered DES, a home for learning. Molding young children holistically has been the dream of every administrator that led DES in its flight to quality, accessible and relevant education. Educating them is the best way of creating their future making them self-reliant, productive and globally competitive.
As Officer-In-Charge of the school, I am challenged to continue the legacy of other administrators to my beloved Alma Mater, Dalaya Elementary School. I strongly dream of every child in the community to be successful someday. Young children should be properly nurtured with the basic Knowledge, Skills and Values needed as they pursue their higher quest for learning. Strong foundataion builds a strong future. This I believe can be made possible through the cooperation of my co-educators in the school and all stakeholders- external and internal. Our commitment and dedication as teachers is essential in molding the young minds. We teachers should see to it that no child is left behind. Patience, too is a virtue. We interact with diverse learners with diverse needs. There is a need for us to be vigilant to this diversity of learners so we can meet their individual needs. Let us be sensitive enough to each learner and be creative in addressing their diverse needs. Let us remember, teachers can make or unmake a child.
To our dear stakeholders, your support to our school makes a difference. We cannot build the future of the children by ourselves alone. We need your unending support to realize our dream. May you continue to unselfishly extend your hand always to Dalaya Elementary School, our beloved school. Let us continue to join hands in crafting the future of our young children who are the future of our community and of our country as a whole.

Meeting with the SBM Task Force

Dalaya Elementary School undergone Online SBM Validation by the SBM Validation Team of SDO Cagayan headed by Dr. Janet Bacunana, a Public Schools District Supervisor on June ____, 2021 in the morning.
DES considers this event another milestone on its SBM Journey. Preparation to this even was such a challenging one but at the end it gives a feeling of accomplishment and rewards on the part of the school’s internal and external stakeholders.
The four dimensions of the SBM Monitoring Tool was presented by the following:
Dimension I: Leadership and Governance --- Roxanne A. Agbisit, Teacher I, Grade IV Class Adviser
Dimension II: Curriculum and Learning ------- Remedios A. Agbisit, Teacher III/OIC Grade 6 Adviser
Dimension III: Accountability and Continuous Improvement----
Vangelin V. Constantino, Teacher III Grade II Adviser
Dimension IV: Management of Resources---- Mylyn A. Ugale, Teacher III, Grade I Adviser
Validating questions followed the presentation of MOV’s. The SBM Validation asked questions from each dimensions to really validate the reliability and the originality of documents presented. However, Mrs. Geraldine G. Cristal, the former principal of the school and at present the cluster principal of DES brilliantly answered and defended bravely the MOVs presented. The team was satisfied with all the answers of Mam Cristal and the other presenters.
Suggestions and comments were shared by the validation team to better improve SBM practice of DES. All of which were graciously noted by the school.
Among other present to this rare event were: Barangay Captain, Erwin R. Orteza; SGC President Jim U. Cardenas and PTA President Rona M. Belen.
DES accorded this event a success on its flight of delivering quality, accessible and relevant education to the school learners and the community as a whole.
