The following District Administered Scholarships have been sent to all Grade 12 students' deltalearns emails (They have also been sent to your families):
Sheelah J. Grasswick Memorial Scholarship - $1,500 For students who plan to enroll in a full time post-secondary program leading to a degree and who have shown interest and commitment to their community.
Ken Sotvedt Memorial Scholarship - $500 Available to all graduating students who have the intent on pursuing a career in music
Delta Retired Teachers' Association Scholarship - 2 @ $1,800 For students pursuing a career in education and who have both volunteered and provided leadership within the community and their school in Grades 11 & 12.
W. Stan Thomas Memorial Endowment (Technology) - 2 @ $1,000 for students pursuing a career in Technology, Engineering or Computer Science
W. Stan Thomas Memorial Endowment (Communications) - 2 @ $1,000 For students pursuing study/training in the field of Communications (Journalism & Broadcasting in TV/Radio
Lee Scholarships - 4 @ $500 each. For students involved in and impacting society for the better
Delta Foundation Scholarship - $1,100. For Sands students only who have volunteered or provided service within the community of Delta.
These scholarships are available to Delta School District Grade 12 students ONLY. The Delta Foundation Scholarship is availale to Sands students only. Each Delta high school can nominate 1 Grade 12 student for each of these scholarships and if you are nominated, you will have a 1 in 7 chance of winning!
HOW TO APPLY FOR THE NOMINATION:
Read the "instruction" document sent to your deltalearns email from Ms. Sansregret
Complete the Scholarship Student Profile and the Chart of Activities & Accomplishments
Complete the application and drop everything off to Ms. Sansregret in the Career Centre by APRIL 2, 2026 2:45 pm. You may also email everything to me in one document please to: jsansregret@deltaschools.ca
