The mission of the DeForest Area Middle School’s Family and Consumer Education program is for students to demonstrate a basic level of fundamental life skills that will help them make educated decisions throughout their life. Through a variety of engaging activities students will learn about financial literacy, healthy eating, being a smart consumer and academic/career planning.  It is the intention of our program to inform and demonstrate essential knowledge and skills to help students become healthy and responsible adults.   We are committed to aid in the growth of the students to become positive role models in their family and community.
