Skyward Accounts

Skyward is the student database system used at Deer Lakes. It enables parents/guardians to be proactive members of their child’s educational team. The district will utilize this web based program to inform families and students about upcoming events, important news, etc. 

Skyward Features

Student Info: View address, phone number, and emergency contact information. You are asked to update information for your child if it changes.

Attendance: View absences and tardies recorded for your student. 

Food Service: View food service purchases, payments, and track lunch account balances. Subscribe to email notifications when your child’s lunch account balance falls below a certain balance.

Health Info: View the immunization records on file at school. Individual Health Plans for specific students can be accessed here as well. 

Gradebooks: View your student’s current grades and assignments for each enrolled class. Subscribe to email notifications when your student has a missing assignment or a grade below a certain percentage.

Academic History: See a record of your student’s grades over time. Test Scores: View standardized test scores. 

Schedule: See class schedule your child. 

Log on and Skyward App

Every student and parent/guardian is set up with a Skyward username and password. You can access the accounts online or download the Skyward app available for Apple and Android. If you are new to the district or do not know your Family Access account information, go to www.deerlakes.net and Resources, then Skyward Family Access. Click “Forgot your Login/ Password?” and enter the email address you have provided to the school. You will receive an email containing your username and a link to reset your password. If you don’t know which email address we have on file, or need to update your email address, please call the main office at 724-265-5310 ext. 3623.
