A Day at School

Your child's day at school is based upon the four frames of the Kindergarten Program 

*Belonging & Contributing

*Self-Regulation and Well-Being

*Literacy & Mathematical Behaviours

*Problem Solving & Innovating

Your child will be immersed in a play-based program that will include learning centres, such as,  literacy, math, outdoor learning, inquiry, social and emotional development and so much more.

You will receive 3 reports on your child throughout the school year (November, February & June) called the Communication of Learning.  The Communication of Learning will share your child's key learning, growth in learning and next steps.

Assessment and Evaluation of the Full Day Kindergarten program is over a two year period.

(September – November) – Communication of Learning - Initial Observations and Parent/Teacher Conference

(November – February) – Communication of Learning - Interim Report

(February – June) – Communication of Learning Report
