Mentoring - Fall 2022

Mentoring provides a wide range of benefits, not only to new teachers but also to those who mentor them. The relationship between mentor and new teacher is one of trust and confidence. It is important to establish this trust early in the relationship, so that the new teacher is able to engage in open and honest dialogue about their successes and challenges in the classroom, without concern that this may impact their performance appraisal.
