Teaching About Religion DCVPA Policy 7178
Religion has played an integral part in the cultural and historical development of the world. Religion is, therefore, an essential subject to be examined and studied at DCVPA.
Religious concepts, facts, and materials are to be used at appropriate times as designated by the existing North Carolina Standard Course of Study. The school shall maintain a balance in these teachings to ensure that no single religion is being promoted, either intentionally or inadvertently, over any other.
Questions on the relevance of religious concepts, facts, and materials should be directed to the principal.
