Registration Dates:
CCI registration for the following school year opens in mid-January and runs through April 1. There is no mid-year/spring registration
Core DE summer and fall registration for the following school year opens in mid-January and runs through April 1
Core DE spring registration for the current school year opens in September and runs through October 1
Career and Technical Dual Enrollment (CTAE DE):
Career and Technical DE courses/programs allow students to take courses and/or earn certifications in a technical skill or trade.
Credits earned in CTAE DE courses count as high school elective credits.
Credits earned in a CTAE program typically do not transfer to a USG institution or count towards a 4-year degree.
Core Dual Enrollment (Core DE):
Students may choose to take core DE classes in English, math, social studies, science, and world languages.
Core DE credits replace high school graduation requirements or count as academic elective credit.
Core DE Credits are often eligible to transfer to public, in-state universities and can be applied to many 4-year degrees
Review lists of general education credits for transfer between USG and TCSG institutions as well as nationally.
Have unweighted high school GPA of 2.0 or above OR acceptable standardized test scores
Can take eligible CTAE (trade & technical) programs. This includes CCI programs.
MUST have a 1200 SAT or 26 ACT to take academic core classes.

Minimum test scores from one of the following tests:
SAT: 480 Evidence-Based Reading and Writing, 440 Math, 1200 Total
ACT: 17 English or Reading, 17 Math, 26 Composite
Georgia Student Finance Commission requires 10th-grade students to meet a minimum of 1200 SAT Total or 26 ACT Composite Score on a national SAT/ACT test to receive state funding for tuition and mandatory fees.
Minimum 3.0 academic GPA
Test-optional Admission for students beginning in Fall 2023 - Summer 2025: UWG is waiving test score requirements for 11th and 12th-grade Dual Enrollment applicants with an academic GPA of 3.0 or higher. Apply and submit your official high school transcript to determine if you qualify!
** Please note, IEP and 504 services will NOT automatically follow the student to their chosen post-secondary institution. If the student needs any services in their selected Dual Enrollment courses it is the student's responsibility to contact the school's Accessibility Services Office and complete an intake. **
