Seniors are provided two days during their senior year to visit schools they are sincerely interested in attending. For a college visit to be counted as an excused absence, the student must:
Make an appointment with the selected school's admissions office at least one week in advance
Complete a College Visitation Form three days prior to the visit.
Have the completed College Visitation form validated by the admission office of the school they visit.
Return the completed form to the attendance office within 3 days of returning to school.
To obtain a College Visitation Form, the parent/guardian should send an email with the college visit school name and date to the student's assigned counselor. The counselor will then provide the student with the required form.
Freshmen, Sophomores, and Juniors are not eligible for college visits.
