Hello! My name is Shelby Stivers, and I’m thrilled to be a part of the Northeast team. I have been teaching for 10 years and am passionate about creating a positive, engaging, and supportive learning environment where all students can thrive.

I earned my Special Education Generalist (age 5-21) from the University of Northern Colorado. I also have my Masters of Arts in Reading from Grand Canyon University.  I believe that every child has unique strengths, and my goal is to help each student discover their potential and develop a love for learning.

My husband, Cody, and I have been married for just over 7 years. We have a five-year-old boy, named Owen. We also have a German Shepherd, named Shamus; and a Red-Heeler Mix, named Milo. In our free time we like to ride our bikes, watch college football (Go Buffs!) and baseball, and build legos and magnet tiles with Owen. 

I am so excited to be a part of the Northeast community. This is going to be an AMAZING year!
