OWI

One Word Images – Imágenes de una palabra

These are our first One Word Images (OWI's) of the year! To make a OWI, we begin by deciding what we're going to create (in English). Then we say, "Uno, dos, tres, ¡no inglés!" From that point, we only speak español about our image.

As we discuss the description and personality of our image, two-three artists draw what they hear, and one student uses his/her phone to look up words the teacher doesn't know. After the discussion is completed, we repeat the questions and answers and complete a "write-up" about our image. After the write-up, the image is revealed to the class. ¡Qué divertido!
