Membership

At DCCCO, members contribute fairly and democratically manage the cooperative's capital. A portion of this capital belongs to the cooperative as common property. Members may receive limited compensation or interest, if any, on their invested capital as part of their membership. Surpluses are allocated for various purposes, including developing the cooperative by establishing reserves, some of which should be indivisible; providing benefits to members based on their patronage of the cooperative's business; and supporting other approved activities as determined by the membership

Types of Membership:

Regular:

Any natural person who is a citizen of the Philippines, of legal age, and with civil capacity to contract and has undergone the prescribed Pre-Membership Education Seminar (PMES)/Pre-Membership Education Webinar. He/she is entitled to all the rights and privileges of membership.

Associate:

Any natural person, who is beyond sixty-five (65) years old and three (3) months upon application for membership, who wishes to avail of its services and has undergone the prescribed Pre-Membership Education Seminar (PMES). He/she has no right to vote and be voted upon. He/she is entitled only to such rights and privileges as provided for in the By-Laws.
