Students were asked, "Who is Mary MacKillop to you and how does she give you courage?"
Spending some time together to reminisce about our pilgrimage and give thanks for the life-changing adventure!
Celebrating with pancakes!
The students pictured with Sr Jiji were the first MCC students to participate in Alpha. This was completed online due to the pandemic.

Time to discuss issues and share challenges that teenagers face. Care and acknowledge those who are experiencing difficulties and dare to look at how we can approach today's issues from a Catholic perspective.
During this term of Alpha we would regularly complete sessions with youth ministry students from St Peter's Catholic College, Tuggerah. Students would participate in small group discussions and then volunteers from both schools would share their group's ideas through Zoom.
A fun way to end an Alpha session.
Due to the pandemic the students were permitted to mix outdoors but had to be separated into year groups once it started. Our senior YMCC students led the games and icebreakers and did a great job!
Due to the pandemic, there were a number of restrictions still in place. One of them was that we had to keep year groups separated. There was still an interest for Alpha to run so we ran Alpha during lunch breaks. It wasn't ideal, as we were rushed with the videos and discussions but it was better than nothing!
Monday - Year 9
Wednesday - Year 8
Friday - Year 7
Students who had already completed Alpha were invited to Connect as a way of continuing their faith formation and connection with each other.
Workshops led by Year 10 YMCC students.
Restrictions were easing so we were able to gather in the church for the Virtual Praisefest.
Some time to give thanks for a year like no other. There was food, games, and some time for prayer and reflection. Charlie, an ex-MacKillop student, was our guest speaker and gave his testimony of faith and why youth ministry was so important to him.
