DCPS Responds to Family Requests - More Help at Night for Homework!
Homework can sometimes present a challenge for families. Last spring, the DCPS Family Advisory Council suggested that DCPS offer support virtually to families and students. If you are a DCPS student, you can now access the Homework Helper Monday through Thursday from 6:00 - 8:00 pm via this link.
Hello, EV Families,
We had a wonderful week back from Fall Break! It was so refreshing to have our Shining Staff and Suns back in the building! Staff and students were ready to roll with instruction first thing Monday morning and continued that focus throughout the week. We are definitely pushing forward here at East View to row our boat forward in a positive direction, and to grow/get better every day!
The Cafeteria also added a rocking week with National School Lunch Week ~ pirate themed! The students and staff LOVED the lunch options, special incentives each day, and seeing all the cafeteria staff dressed up each day! We LOVE our ladies in the cafeteria!

Hello, EV Families,
We had an awesome week to set off for Fall Break! We wrapped up our first 9 weeks of school with Solar Power, SONShine Night, and Class Buddy assemblies! It was an AMAZING way to celebrate each and every student's compassion, grit, integrity, and self-control thus far this school year!
