DCPS Responds to Family Requests - More Help at Night for Homework!
Homework can sometimes present a challenge for families. Last spring, the DCPS Family Advisory Council suggested that DCPS offer support virtually to families and students. If you are a DCPS student, you can now access the Homework Helper Monday through Thursday from 6:00 - 8:00 pm via this link.
Starting March 21st and running through April 17th you can buy Meal Deal codes to help EVES PTO raise money. Click this link to support us in our fundraising efforts:

Just a friendly reminder to register your child for next school year! Our office is open and available for in-person support Monday-Friday, 8:30am - 1:30pm! We want all of our Shining Suns to return for the 2025-2026 school year! You can also go to dcps.org/enroll to complete online at any time!

Thank you to all our families and students who came out to support the EV Book Fair & Family Reading Night this week. We absolutely LOVE having families in our building, and see the students' smiling faces! It was a wonderful week to celebrate the importance of reading!

Hello, EV Families,
We continue to have AMAZING, hardcore, positive learning weeks here at East View! Our students are challenging themselves to show grit, dig deep, and give their very best student effort on assignments and assessments! Our staff is so very proud of their hardwork and dedication to row, grow, and get better every day! 💛💚
Chocolate sale is still ongoing! It will wrap up Friday, March 14th with all money due then. Thanks so very much to those who have participated to support our school! We greatly appreciate you!
