STUDENT FEATURE

A distinguished performer in the classroom and in the pool, Shelby Stanley (‘23) provided essential leadership for the Wildcats’ swimming & dive team from the day she stepped on-campus. Throughout her four years, Stanley took great advantage of the Matthews Center and Career Advantage programs to prepare for life after sport, becoming a great advocate of their services. In the pool, Stanley led the Wildcats with 21 medals over four years at the annual Atlantic 10 Conference Championships, including 8 gold medals. In addition to her athletic accomplishments, Stanley participated in the first-ever Pro ‘Cats Professional Development & Leadership Bootcamp, and later came back as the first student presenter for the program in January 2023. Following graduation, Stanley accepted an offer in January 2023 with RVO Health where she now serves as a Digital Operations Associate for the HLM Commerce team.
