If a user needs create a test session, follow step-by-step instructions in Scheduling and Monitoring Test Sessions in the Professional Development section of www.LASLinks.com/Texas
If a session is "Not Started" then the user can press the Delete button next to the session.
If at least one student has started a test then the session cannot be deleted unless all tests are regenerated to move the session back to a "Not Started" status.
If a user needs to print test tickets, they can either use the Edit/Print Ticket Status button or the Print All Tickets button next to the session. The user will then click the Printer Icon next to the session to get the student tickets.
If a district has purchased DRC Scoring then their sessions which are Educator Scored will be moved over to DRC Scored by end of business day.
Test sessions will automatically go from In Progress to Complete when all students within the test session have completed all subtests.
If a user wants to see which students have completed all subtests in a test session, they can use the Export Details button next to the session to generate an Excel file that will show the status of every subtest for every student.
Alternatively, if a user wants to see the status of a all students at a school they can use Student Management >> Student Status Dashboard to see this information.
Yes, students can be added to existing test sessions by using the View/Edit button next to the session.
If it takes a long time to bring up the print test ticket windows, it's likely because there are too many students in the test session. The user should limit the number of students per test session and create a new test session for the students.
If the user is getting an error that the test session is unavailable, it's likely because the test date range has passed. The user can edit the test date range using the View/Edit button next to the session to change the End Date to a later date.
LEAs are not provided the Regenerate permission which allows the test to be "reset". Due to this, they must contact DRC Customer Support to request a Regeneration. This is due to a couple of different reasons. First, whenever a regeneration is done, this will end up using a student license. Second, the TEA has strict guidelines when it comes to identifying the students. The student should not have extra exposure to a test whenever they have already tested partway through a test.
If you would like to continue with the Regeneration request, the following is required:
LEA must provide DRC with the Username/Password and Student ID of the ticket
LEA must provide DRC with a reason why the test needs to be regenerated
If the request is due to a technical issue (mic issues) then we need to have proof of this issue
To do this users can download the responses from the educator scoring page. If the user is unsure of this, please reference this video.
Invalidate: The Invalidate button is used in the event the student receives outside assistance. Once an assessment is invalidated, the action cannot be reversed.
Unlock: The Unlock button is used to unlock a Completed test. This will move the test from a "Completed" status to an "In Progress" status so the student can continue with the assessment.
End Incomplete Test: The End Incomplete Test Button is used if a student is unable to complete a domain, a test can be submitted.
