My name is Jack Whipple and I am a ninth grader in Darien. I enjoy doing cross country and track and field. I am in Idea because I would like to learn more about video production and to grow as a presenter and learner. I have two younger brothers that I like to play outside with.

My project is to combine video production and the amount of food available on earth. I plan to research what the most productive way to farm is and then to make a video on it.

End of Year Reflection
Throughout the year, I have learned a lot about farming, food waste, and climate change. In addition, I have become better at time management. I also learned that it is important to set a lot of mini goals when doing a large project. These helped to hold myself accountable throughout the year. Some advice that I have for rising 9th grade idea students would be to make sure that you use your time wisely.
