Hello, I'm Mr. Nash. I have been a Physical Education teacher for 20 years. I am truly lucky and thankful that they have all been at Mark DeLay Elementary School. I was lucky enough in 2005 that Darien Public School Systems took a chance on me. Just as District 61 prides itself on a "tradition of excellence," I strive for the same. I am truly thankful to be in a profession that I love and everyday is a new and exciting adventure.

I have a degree from the University of Iowa in Elementary Education and 2 Masters degrees. One from Northern Illinois University and one from Benedictine University. 

My personal interests include spending time with family, working out at Lifetime Fitness and owning 2 businesses. One is a landscaping business and another is my real estate business. I truly enjoy getting to know people and finding ways to stay busy.

Fun facts about Mr. Nash are...Mr. Nash still has 2 baby teeth. Mr. Nash has never had a cavity. Mr. Nash's favorite number is "3." Mr. Nash's favorite color is green.

I can't tell you how excited I am to get to work and get moving this year.  I have a lot of exciting new things planned this year and can't wait to share my passion for getting and staying active with all of you!
