The Pennsylvania Music Educators Association is a state-wide organization of music educators that provide a number of experiences for high school students. Among these experiences are All-District, District Jazz, All-Region, and All-State Band, Orchestra, and Choir.

Students may audition for All-District Band and/or Orchestra each November on the Sunday before Thanksgiving. Audition requirements can be found by asking Mr. Hiravi or by accessing this site: PMEA District 8

Preparations for the audition should begin at the end of the previous school year, summer, or at the start of the school year.
