Concert Band

The DAHS Concert Band is the larger of our two DAHS instrumental ensembles. Concert Band performs publicly several times per year and offers students the ability to develop individual and ensemble performance skills through a wide variety of music repertoire. While participation in Marching Band is a curricular component of this course, we welcome student-athletes! We make sure that all students are able to participate in the Band program regardless of any extracurricular commitments. 

In addition to our school-based performances, enrolling in Concert Band and/or Wind Ensemble will provide students optional opportunities to audition for select events through the Pennsylvania Music Educators Association such as All-District, All-Region, and All-State Band.

Students who participate in the Band program for all four years of high school will also have the ability to apply for several scholarship opportunities through our school and booster organization in affiliation with the Central Susquehanna Community Foundation.
