Personal devices will be kept in Yondr pouches throughout the day. Students will be provided instructions on how to use them during the first few days of school. Personal devices cannot be stored in lockers or backpacks without a Yondr pouch.

Personal devices used in violation of the policy will be confiscated and securely stored on campus. Device confiscation is a Level II offense, which can result in Disciplinary Alternative Education Placement (DAEP) after the 2nd offense. Below are infraction levels, per offense, as outlined in the Student Code of Conduct.
1st Offense: Parent/guardian may pick up device without fee
2nd Offense: Parent/guardian may pick up device and pay $5 administrative fee
3rd Offense: Parent/guardian may pick up the device and pay $10 administrative fee
4th Offense: Parent/guardian may pick up the device and pay $15 administrative fee Parents/guardians will be notified that the student’s device has been confiscated for the fourth time and a mandatory parent conference is scheduled.
5th Offense: After a mandatory parent conference is conducted, if a cell phone/smart device is confiscated a fifth time the student will be issued a Level II referral.
Unclaimed Devices: Any device not claimed by September 1st of the following school year will be disposed of according to FNCE(LEGAL). The District is not liable for lost or stolen cell phones.
Lost Pouches: Students who misplace or damage their magnetized pouch will be charged an administrative fee of $25.00 for a replacement.
Refusal of Cooperation: Failure to comply with the personal communication device designated storage method/using a communication device on school property during the school day is a Level II referral.
