Organization Tips:

• Accordion Folders: Help your child choose how to organize their own tabs to a system that works best for them.  Most are currently listed by a completion-based system.  Organizing by subject may work better for your student.  They can sort it according to what makes the most sense for them.

• Extra Tip: Highlight their name when they finish.  This creates a visual cue that they are done, but it also creates a checkpoint that their name is on their paper.  We have had many papers submitted with no names.

• Checking submissions: Do NOT rely on Google Classroom to see if they have turned in an assignment.  Follow Powerschool when checking for missing assignments.  Students can and will often mark assignments as completed in Google Classroom even though they have not completed them.
