Classroom Norms
Each teacher will have expectations and routines for their classroom. The teachers will go over those during the first couple weeks of school. Students will work with the teachers to create a Respect Agreement to be posted and signed within each class.
Grade Level Expectations
-Remember to use Sudie Essentials at all times!
-Walk in quietly, get notebook / supplies and go to your assigned seat.
-Look at the board for the bellringer and the topic / standard of the day.
-Complete bellringer within the time allotted (usually first 5-10 minutes of class) (can use notes unless otherwise stated).
-Write your first / last name and section on EVERYTHING you get.
-Always be attentive on the speaker.
-Keep your head up, unless you are instructed to lay it on your desk.
-Raise your hand and wait to be called on for any questions / comments.
-Use accountable talk statements when having discussions with a fellow student(s).
-Ask to use the restroom during independent work time only.
-Raise your hand if you need to leave your seat at any time during instruction.
-Be respectful to the learning time of others and keep from any side conversations.
-Keep your hands to yourself and your own things; ask for permission for anything else.
-DO NOT touch anything on teacher’s desk.
-If we go anywhere in the building, we walk with respect and low volumes, so we do not disturb any classroom.
-Before leaving, table must be clean, materials put up and chairs put away
-Wait to be dismissed from class
Rewards - House Points!
Students will be rewarded with house points as they PAVE the way day to day.

Consequences
1st Warning: Verbal Warning
2nd Warning: Reset Ticket
3rd Reset Ticket: After School Session
(3rd Behavior = Reset Session, 3rd Academic = Study Hall)
Two Lunch Detentions or two Study Halls in a 9-week Period will require a meeting with a parent and principal to create an academic or behavior improvement plan.
