Guidelines for iPad take-home program

All students in 3-8 grade are required to review this handbook with their parents/guardians and return the last page of this agreement to their homeroom teacher before they are allowed to participate in the device take home program.

  • Common Sense Media- Resources to help keep students maximize the benefits of being online while staying safe. Topics include: Alcohol, Drugs, and Smoking, Cellphone Parenting, Cyberbullying, Haters, and Trolls, Facebook, Instagram, and Social Media, and more.

  • Connect Safely- A non-profit organization that focuses on Internet safety, privacy and security. There are many research-based safety tips, parents’ guidebooks, and advice on technology use and policies.

  • Family Online Safety Institute A non-profit organization dedicated to making the online world safer for kids and their families. This organization provides resources on the three Ps, Policy, Practice, and Parenting.
