Reading Suggestions

Below are links to list of books suggested by writers, bloggers, librarians and teachers.  There is a wide variety of them, so hopefully you can find something your child might enjoy.  If you find a link you like, poke around, as many of these lists lead to other lists:)

Please keep in mind that the lists often cover 4th through 8th grade readers, and what might be appropriate for an 8th grader would not be appropriate for a 4th grader.  Just because they can read the words does not mean they can handle the topics.

Imagination Soup  This site has summer reading lists for kids from first grade to eighth grade. They list the books by category, such as fantasy, adventure, and weird!! Some of my favorite books are listed here, so take a look! And, really, you could read these books in the winter, too:)
