MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCIPAL

Welcome to the New School Year at DMS!

We are thrilled with how smoothly our school year has kicked off! Thank you for your support and partnership as we implemented our new Electronic Device Policy, because of your reinforcement at home, our students are noticeably more engaged both socially and academically.

Our focus for these opening weeks centers on our school-wide MTSS program, ARK (Accountability, Responsibility, & Kindness). Students participated in lessons around these core values and attended an assembly during PE packed with team-building activities.

A massive thank you to everyone who joined us for Open House last week. Seeing students proudly lead their families through the hallways was a highlight for our staff. That energy is carrying straight into our extracurriculars, including Cross Country & Volleyball seasons and rehearsals for the Fall Play.

Looking Ahead We have some exciting events right around the corner—keep an eye out for details on the upcoming Midnight Mile and Fall Fest!

Educating our middle schoolers is a shared journey, and we deeply value your collaboration. Thank you for helping us build this incredible momentum. We look forward to a fantastic year ahead together!
