Chorus students are off to a great start to the school year! Please make note of all concert dates for the year in the handbook. New students should also purchase their concert uniform as soon as possible.
Upcoming Concert Dates:
- Monday October 26 - D300 Choral Fest (8th grade only), 7:00pm, Hemmens Auditorium
- Tuesday December 15 - Holiday Chorus Concert 7:00pm, Main Gym - ALL CHOIRS

Valiant Voices will being on Friday September 11th! Please encourage your son to come sing with us! VV requires a different uniform purchase.
Bella Voce will begin on September 15th. The member list will be posted the week before. BV requires a different uniform purchase.

Welcome to a new school year. So many great things to be happy about: the largest 6th Grade Band ever, a 7th Grade Band with 5 French horns, and an 8th Grade Band already working on refinement.

7th and 8th Grade students and 6th Grade piano and guitar students participating in jazz band will receive a calendar the first week of September.

Welcome to all our orchestra families!
Mrs. Benge and Ms. Wood are the DMS orchestra teachers. Although only one of our names is listed on your schedule, both of us will be working with the orchestra students this year. Please email beth.wood@d300.org and/or anna.benge@d300.org for all orchestra related items.

Our first concert of the year for 6th, 7th, & 8th Grade Orchestras will be Thursday, November 12th at 7:00pm in the DMS Main Gym. Student arrival time will be 6:30. Now would be a great time to make sure your student has all the required concert attire. Check the handbook for details.
New students or students who need to replace their music polo, should purchase their concert polo shirts as soon as possible, using this link to the D300 Webstore HERE
All Orchestra students need a 1 inch black binder for orchestra only. Essential Elements Books will be kept in your binder. If you need to purchase a book, Cassandra Strings in Algonquin has them available, both in the store and online.
