What is ARK?

At DMS we follow ARK in our building. ARK stands for: Accountability, Responsibility, and Kindness.

Accountability - taking ownership of your actions, good or bad.

Responsibility - doing what you need to do in a timely manner.

Kindness - be respectful and kind to all.

When students are following ARK they are able to earn Cardunal Cash to use at our school stores, enter quarterly raffle prizes, and teachers may use them for incentives in the classroom.

DMS Annual Food Drive

Starting November 3rd, DMS will kick off our annual November Food Drive to support the D300 Food Pantry. Students are encouraged to bring nonperishable food items to their Advisory class throughout the month.

Last year, our school collected over 1,200 food items, and this year, we’re hoping to make an even greater impact! To add some fun, the Advisory class at each grade level that donates the most food will earn a Donut Breakfast treat.

The D300 Food Pantry plays a vital role in supporting our community—it helps keep students and families fed. Over 700 families rely on the pantry, which serves 180–200 families each week. Together, we can help keep their shelves full and continue making a difference in our district.

Quartely Raffle Changes

Due to vandalization of our quarterly raffle boxes. We have had to make some changes to how students can enter to win a quarterly raffle.

Students can now turn in Cardunal Cash into Quarter Raffle bins during the school store, and as they enter the quarter celebrations that happen on the last day of the quarter. Students still need to have their first and last name on their Cardunal Cash, and need to be present at the celebration to win.

Boo Gram Fundraiser

Thank you to all the parents and students that supported this years ARK fundraiser. We were able to sell over $1200 Boo Grams. All the monet goes to purchasing items for the School Store, Quarterly Raffles, and Quarterly Celebrations.

Thank you to the Parent Association for the continued support, and helping us find parent volunteers to come sell Boo Grams during lunch periods.
