Eligible Employees include:
Employees regularly scheduled to work Full Time
Employees regularly scheduled to work .50 of Full Time
Employees regularly scheduled to work less than .50 of Full Time not less than 20 hours per week
Eligible IMRF Retirees
Eligible Dependents include:
Married spouse and civil union partner as defined under the Illinois Religious Freedom and Civil Union Act
Natural children, stepchildren, adopted children (including children in employees' custody under an interim court order of adoption or placed with employee for adoption or placed with employee for adoption vesting temporary care) or children for whom employee is legal guardian under age 26
Unmarried children to age 30 residing within Illinois, having served as an active or reserve member of the Armed Forces and released or discharged with other than a dishonorable discharge
Children incapable of self-sustaining employment and dependent upon employee or other care providers for lifetime care and supervision because of a handicapped condition occurring prior to reaching the limiting age regardless of age
