Hallo!

Hallo! My name is Frau (Ms.) Arkin. The 2021-22 school year is my 3rd year in District 230, and my 8th year teaching overall. I am originally from the Northwest Suburbs, and went to the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (Go Illini!). I studied German and Secondary Education, and spent my junior year studying abroad in Vienna, Austria. I spent time traveling around Austria, Germany and Europe throughout my year abroad. I have been back to Germany with students from a previous school, and went back to Vienna 2 summers ago. I love teaching German and my favorite topic to teach about is Christmas in Germany!
