¡Hola!

I´m Señora Pence and I´m so excited to be a part of your language learning journey at Stagg High School! Learning a language doesn't have to be hard, having fun and enjoying learning is what it's all about! My students and my love for language and culture are what give me the passion to teach. It´s a joy to see my students progress their language proficiency and even earn the Seal of Biliteracy in Spanish before they graduate!  I´m so proud to hear my students say that they feel confident using Spanish, that they can communicate on a trip or use Spanish in the workplace. I know that you'll experience the same sense of accomplishment after studying Spanish at Stagg! 

I'm a Monmouth College Alumni and earned my Masters in Teaching from Dominican University. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, being outdoors, and practicing yoga. I've led a student trip to Spain, studied in Costa Rica, and I've traveled to Mexico and Puerto Rico. I enjoy the diversity and rich culture that each Spanish- speaking country has to offer and I can't wait to share it with you!
