Counseling & College/Career Center
INSPIRE
So often we find that the students we are trying to INSPIRE end up being the ones who inspire us. Today’s young people are living in an exciting time, with an increasingly diverse and mobile society, new technologies, and expanding opportunities. To help ensure that they are prepared to become the next generation of parents, workers, leaders, and citizens. Every student needs support, guidance, and opportunities during adolescence, a time of rapid growth and change.
Meeting the Challenge
All of us on the PHS counseling team are professional educators with a mental health perspective who understand and respond to the challenges presented by today’s diverse student population. We provide proactive leadership that engages all stakeholders in the delivery of programs and services to help our students achieve success in school. We serve as advocates, guiding and fostering the potential in all students during their development toward academic, career, and personal/social success. We collaborate with students, educators, parents, and our community to prepare our students for excellence throughout their lives.
