On this page, you will find the schedule for New Student Orientation. Throughout the day, students will engage in a variety of fun, exciting and informational sessions! There will be large groups meetings with the entire Class of 2027, small group discussions with their Link Crew Leaders, a scavenger hunt, a mock walk through of their class schedule, ringing of the traditional PHS Bell, opportunities to get involved in clubs/activities/sports, various competitions (do you think you can dance?), and a chance to win a ton of prizes! Trust us, you do not want to miss out on this day!

Note: New Student Orientation will be held throughout the entirety of a normal school day at Palmer High School (7:35am - 3:09pm on August 16th, 2023). Doors will open at 7:20am for check in at our Big Gym (Erps); located on 325 N Wahsatch Ave, Colorado Springs, CO 80903. Lunch will be provided for all 9th grade students and held on campus!

All incoming 9th grade students are required to attend New Student Orientation on August 16th.

7:40 - 8:00am - Welcome to Palmer!

8:00 - 8:50am - Meet your Link Crew Leaders & Icebreaker Games

9:00 - 10:00am - Team Building Games in the Main Building with Link Crew Group

10:05 - 10:35am - Bell Ringing Ceremony in the Courtyard with Link Crew Group

10:35 - 11:25am - Building Wide Scavenger Hunt with Link Crew Group

11:25am - 12:15pm - Lunch on Campus with Link Crew Group - Club Crawl & Athletic Showcase

12:15pm - School Bell rings to signal start of a Mock Class Schedule Run Through

12:25 - 2:20pm - Mock Class Schedule (Classes are 10min long with a 5min passing period)

Period 1: 12:25pm - 12:35pm

Period 3: 12:55pm - 1:05pm

Period 4: 1:10pm - 1:20pm

Period 5: 1:25pm - 1:35pm
