Martha Alvarez
This is my 29th year of teaching! During that time, I have played Ultimate Frisbee, practiced the mandolin, and continued exploring may National Parks. At Palmer, I am most proud of working with our Interact Club to help install water wells in 2 different Nicaraguan Villages. Before I became a teacher, I worked aboard the schooner, Adventuress. Outside of school, I assist Parks and Wildlife in their summer TENS program. I am a Girl Scout Leader. I also volunteer with the Pikes Peak Birding and Nature Festival. I enjoy birding, gardening, camping, and hiking with my family, including 2 rescue mutts.
