Hello everyone!
I’ve lived and taught in many places, but the mountains were calling me from an early age. I followed that passion into both Geology and Environmental Science and am super lucky to be able to share both with students!
I’m originally from upstate New York, but did most of my growing up in Texas. All my family roots are in Colorado, and I’ve spent more time here than anywhere else. My two sons grew up here, and one is a proud alumnus of Palmer!
Though in younger years I guided backpacking and whitewater canoeing, now that my boys are grown, I focus more on finding new experiences in travel, seeing new states and countries, and generally being in the outdoors as much as possible.
