Chapter 3 Objective: Students will describe family members, relationships, and age using tener, possessive adjectives, possession using de and describe how they/others are feeling with estar and emotion vocabulary.
Chapter 3 Targets:
Define/recite family member and emotion vocab.
Use correct noun/adjective agreement when describing family members.
Ask and respond to your age using the verb tener.
Use possessive adjectives when describing relationships between family members.
Use de to explain relationship between people (no ‘s).
Ask and respond to how you are feeling using conjugations of estar.
Read a short paragraph in target language with family related vocabulary, estar with emotions and answer questions based on the reading.
Write a short paragraph in target language using current vocabulary and using the verb estar and emotion vocabulary, tener, possessive adjectives and possession using de.
Oral Questions: Write a response in a complete sentence in Spanish and practice before oral test date.

Answer a ¿ Quién es….? question. EX. ¿Quién es la hermana de tu madre?
