Chapter 1 Objective:
By the end of this chapter I should be able to engage in introductory conversations and ask and respond to questions such as people’s names, how they are feeling, and where they are from.
Chapter 1 Targets:
Spell words using Spanish letter sounds and use them when pronouncing words in Spanish.
Define and recite conversational vocabulary.
Ask people’s names and respond accordingly.
Ask how people are feeling and respond accordingly.
Identify and use subject pronouns appropriately to describe the subject of the sentence.
Conjugate ser and choose the correct conjugations when constructing sentences saying where people are from.
Answer questions after reading a short dialogue that includes greetings, how others are doing, what their names are and where they are from.
Create a project by writing a conversation using greetings, asking/responding to how they are doing, what their names are and where they are from.
