Percussion Ensemble is a non-conducted group that focuses on all aspects of percussion performance, including drums, mallets, and auxiliary instruments. Designed for students of all skill levels, the course emphasizes the development of fundamental musical and performance techniques, sight reading, and music theory through specialized percussion literature.
Students are required to participate in all concerts, festivals, and performances scheduled for this ensemble by the University Instrumental Music Program.
Performances: Three concerts on campus, regional festivals, pep band, the Lilac Parade, outreach performances, and graduation.
