Marching Band

Grades: 9–12

Prerequisite: None, non-auditioned

Marching Band is a conducted ensemble open to wind and percussion students of all skill levels. This activity emphasizes precision in music and movement, ensemble coordination, and performance endurance. Students develop leadership, teamwork, and school spirit while preparing competitive field shows and spirited halftime performances.

Students are required to participate in all performances scheduled by the University Instrumental Music Program.

Rehearsals: Summer Band Camp (see below for details)
Tuesdays and Thursdays, 3:30–6:30 PM; Saturdays, 9:00 AM–1:00 PM

Performances: All home football games, one showcase, and three competitions.
