Color Guard

Grades: 9–12

Prerequisite: None, non-auditioned

Color Guard is a visual performance ensemble that works in conjunction with the Marching Band during the fall season. Students learn equipment technique (flags, rifles, and sabres), dance fundamentals, and ensemble coordination to create engaging and dynamic field shows. Participation fosters teamwork, precision, and expressive performance skills.

Students are required to participate in all performances for this ensemble scheduled by the University Instrumental Music Program.

Winter Guard opportunities will also be available; details will be provided as the season approaches.
