Hello, I'm Ms. Hamilton, and this is my 26TH year teaching! That's right, I'm old. :-) I'm momma to a rambunctious 6th grader and step-mom to a college student. My favorite place to be is outdoors where the air is fresh and I'm surrounded by the beauty of nature. I spent most of my life in the Pacific Northwest. I love going on adventures and exploring new places with my son, who luckily still lets me hang out with him. ;-) We adopted a little dog named Trudy in 2022, whose current obsession in life is terrorizing every squirrel in existence.

I also taught my first year at Hamilton Middle School in Seattle, then returned to Eastern Washington, where I taught another 9 years.
This year marks my 15th year teaching 8th grade at Hyde Middle School.
